Hi!
We have a pharmaceutical Sample, which was formulated in an Nitrogen Atmosphere. We wanted to estimate the content of Nitrogen present in the formulated Vial. Can any body help me to solve my problem.
One of my colleauge suggested to use HP-PLOT Mole Sieve column at 40°C with TCD and Helium as Carrier.
Thanks in advance

Almost any 5A mole sieve column packed (or capillary,) 1 meter (to 30 meter), from any vendor, not just HP will suffice for the analysis.

Helium or hydrogen can be the carrier.

Temperatures of ambient to 60°C should be capable of separating nitrogen from methane/oxygen/CO/argon but not from krypton.

TCD is the appropriate detector.

hope this is helpful.

best wishes,

Rod
