New edition of Practical HPLC Method Development?

I'm interested in buying the book Practical HPLC Method Development (Snyder, Kirkland, Glajch) as a reference book. The newer edition I found is the 1997 second edition.

Do anyone know if they are planning to launch a new edition soon? In that case, I would wait to buy it.

By the way, do anybody has a better suggestion than this one for a reference book in HPLC method developement?

Hi, Martin!

There will not be a third edition anytime soon (within the next year or two). There is no active work going on at the moment, and the gestation period is comparable to that for breeding elephants. :wink:
