I have a Biocad 700E system I would like to use to do prep HPLC work. The problem I have is that the 700E model can handdle up to 100ml/min (3000 psi = max pressure) and I am not sure that this will be enough for the column size I plan to put on. Actually, I plan to use a 70mm x 920mm column packed with a styrenic sorbent (particule size around 250um).
I wanted to change the whole tubing from 0.03" ID to 0.062" ID but this is more complicate than I expected.
Do you think that this may work ? What are the suggestions of experts in prep HPLC ?
Thank you,
Fée
