suggestion for derivatising agent

Hello everyone

I want an suggestion from all of you. I have a drug containing amide group i.e. CONH2. the name of drug is levetiracetam.it is non chromophoric. i have to modify it to drug containing chromophore. so i have to attached chromophore at amide. so anyone suggest me what could be possible derivatising agent and how it is derivatised?

Try using Biotinylated agent. It will have a Jablonski profile that is in the range of typical flourescence excitation and emission spectra.

Have you tried to see it in low UV, at 210 to 215 nm with acetonitrile as your organic modifier?
