i have run a standard then a sample. but on the sample i could only get my solvent and internal standard peak. Is there any suggestion to this problem?

There is no analyte in the sample.

Run a higher concentration sample and see what happens.

Run your standard again after the sample.

If the standard duplicates the first standard then there is no analyte in your sample as Peter has already stated, at least none present above your detection limit.

best wishes,

Rod

Thanks for the reply.
