Were the old posts from the lcresources.com board deleted?

No they haven't been deleted. You can find the old posts at:

I guess that little by little the administrator will transfer all the old posts to the new website.
If I may suggest, the administrator could make a link in the first page (home/index) of the new (and improved
) chromforum indicating where people could find the old postings.

I added the link near the upper right corner of the page, just below the sponsors (Home | Archives | Last Week | Last Day).
Yes, the plan is to eventually move the archives. There are two concerns in that regard:
1. Will increasing the size of the database (by almost an order of magnitude!) slow down the access/response time?
2. We can't use the "brute force" approach, because that would give the archive messages the most recent post dates. So some programming will be required to hack the database. Needless to say, we want to be careful not to screw up the existing files!
