Dear users
we will determine pesticide residue in food samples by LC-MS/MS. Now, we prepare the site, chemicals, etc. Do you have an idea about the column specification for pesticide studies. One recomendation is Phenomenex Aqua 50 mmx2 mm 5micron 125 A C18. Is there similar kind of that? Is there anyone working on this subject? (pesticides LC-MS/MS)
any idea will be appreciated

Your question is a little unspecific. Which pesticides will you analyze? Will it be multiresidue analysis? Then you could take a look at these articles:

An Aqua column should work, though Phenomenex recommends to use Synergi Hydro-RP instead. You might want to use a 125 mm length.

What pesticides will you be working with? If we have the compound name in our database - I can post it on here.

Probably tiabendazole and benomyle (carbendazime) :)
If yes... simple c18 rp 250 mm x 4,6 should be adequate

If some other please write...

or Ask the Experts :)

Yes, That's multiresidue method.

Yes, That's multiresidue method.
so... mayby try Pursuit XRs-C18
look :

What kind pest. you will detected?

Below are chromatograms for thiabendazole and benomyl analyzed on
Cadenza CD-C18 column:

Dear users
we will determine pesticide residue in food samples
One more...
If in food matrix - buy some with particle size 5µm
I'm using Waters Atlantic c18 250x4,6 with phenomex guard (for thiabendazole+benomyl as carbendazim + THIOPHANATE-METHYL)
...the tested way :)
