We are currently evaluating the automated method development package ChromSword Auto.

So far, we are pretty impressed, but I just wondered if anyone out there had any experience themselves?

We are looking to buy in the column switcher as well to allow us to do automated column/solvent screening at the front end of the development.

ChromSword also offer an additonal module called Auto Robust, designed to completely automate robustness testing of the method.

I just have have one final question. ChromSword have told us that there is no need to validate the package purley because of the nature of the work. However, as there is a direct link with ChemStation to control the LC I feel we will need some sort of system validation to show the new software has not effected to existing packages. If anyone out here has purchased ChromSword I'd be intersted to know what approach you took..
