Hellow ,

we are using GC analysis of this compound Our column is DB-17 , we dissole this compound in 1% in Acetone . Oue GC condition is
Oven 240
Injecter / Detector(FID) 250/250 degree
Nitrogen used as carrier and it's pressure is 5 psi

After some injection we does not found any responce of our compound on DB-17 we still not undrstand the problem yet why the responce of compound is disappers .

Thanks

Compound is not in salt form because this compound give proper responce in DB-17 and custmer also use DB-17 but main problem is that this compounds responce suddenly disappears from DB-17 while this compound give proper responce on DB-1701

why DB-17 does not responding this compound whereas Ist time DB-17 gave us proper responce

thanks

Praveenpaliwal,

If you trim 20 or 50cm off the front of the column, does it come back? Sounds like pretty typical nitrogenous compound performance to me....

Best regards.

No sir we cleaned the detector assmbly , cut the both end of column conditioning it properly but stll we got very poor responce, U suggest us to cut 30-50 cm of column we cut the column near about 5 cm on both end . the 30 - 50 cm is very high for cutting isn't it ?

Has the analyte been stored without concern for exposure to air?
