Hello,

Could someone help me with the following question:
I would like to know the elution order on the following packed GC column:
10% AT-1000 on Chromosorb W-AW, 80/100.
AT-Steel column, 6ft*1/8".
I have a mixture of C1 to C14 aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.
I am especially interested in the components that will elute prior to benzene.

Many thanks for your help,
Kind regards,
Frederik Ottoy

Depending upon the temperature and flow rate and amount of your analytes on column you should separate methane through nonane before benzene on this column.

Since this is an Alltech column you might want to ask their customer service. I hesitate to say more since I work for a competitor.

best wishes,
