Cleaning aluminum oxide

Dear all users,
I have to use aluminum oxide to clean up an edible oil, but I found that the alumina is quite expensive (activity I) and I hope that I can re-use (reactivate) it. Can anyone guide me about cleaning (reactivate) the alumina ?
