We just got a new Acella LC system (just the LC, no MS) and have been tryingh to hook it up ourselves (long story). Anyway, we can get the pump to talk to the software (its controlled via USB) but the autosampler and PDA are ethernet connected going through a switch box. We just cant get them to talk to the software (or be seen by the software). I suspect this is more of a Windoze XP problem then a problem with the components or the software, anyone out there have any words of advice (calling Thermo/Fisher isnt an option, yet, again, long story).

Here's hoping.....

What IP have you set your Lan Connection to? It should be 172.16.0.101 w/ subnet mask 255.255.0.0
