Hello All :D

We're looking for a quadrupole GCMS system for our client's method development lab, coming up near Bangalore, India. We've been in touch with Agilent, Thermo and Varian, but I'd like to talk to other vendors too.

Any suggestions anyone? Would really appreciate any advice from end-users.

Thanks in advance,

I suggest looking into Shimadzu. The 2010 series GC/MS systems are very sensitive. I'm not sure if they have distributors or service in India. We have been very happy with our Shimadzu systems.

Agree that Shimadzu are worth looking at, but make sure the vendor representative fully understands and can demonstrate the quantitation software.

Thanks Mike and Sassman!

I have to agree with Mike. Shimadzu does make good MS systems, but vendor support for such high-end systems is very important.

Will bear this in mind when we talk to Shimadzu!

Thanks again!
