Sulfonamides acetylation

I was wondering if I can acetylate a sulfonamide. more specifically furosemide ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Furo ... eletal.png )

Should be the product thermal stable?

I don't have CH3I right now. Thanks for comments.
