Method for wet packing a C18 column

Hello,
My advisor and I are trying to find a simple solvent solution/procedure for wet packing a C18 column with 5 micrometer clay.
If anyone has a procedure or knows where to find one, any help would be very appreciated.

Hi Ikubista.

i know how to pack column with 5 micron silica particles ; one can use CCL4 or THF or actone , giv eit a try with teh clay

But what do you want to achieve with the clay as stationary phase ?

I assume when talking about a "C18 column" you mean the stainless steel column ( I guess 25 cm lentgh, 4.6 mm ID ?). It has nothing to do with C18 !!??
