problem about my UV

I am using a Gilson UV/VIS 151. It worked fine before i left my lab for my holiday. But the first time i used it after i was back, the error light blinks without any error msg.

I injected some samples no peak was observed ( it was supposed to be there according to previous results)

Any advise for this problem? I have flushed it with MeOH, but did not work

Have you consulted the operator's manual? Your detector is obviously broken, and you need to find out why. Possibilities include:
1. the power blinked and the electronics are confused; turn it off, count to 10 and turn it on
2. the lamp failed; see if there is any light from it, if not, buy a new one
3. a serious system failure; call the service representative
