HI,

Can someone recommend me any type of column with packing material as below:

end-capped polar-embedded octadecylsilyl amorphous organosilica polymer R
-synthethic, spherical hybrid particles, containing both inorganic
(silica) and organic (organosilanes) components,
chemically modified at the surface by trifunctionally bonded
octadecylsilyl group.

Thanks

Hi Louise,

This Pharmacopiea description refers to a Waters XTerra MS C18 column, as it has a stationary phase that is a combination of both silica and polymer.

Best Regards,

Steve.

It is not entirely clear. One interpretation would suggest the version of XTerra with the embedded polar group, which is XTerra RP18. XTerra MS C18 is the standard trifunctionally bonded C18. The only thing that is completely clear is that it describes a hybrid particle.

Or go with the 'new' Waters X-bridge column (also a hybrid but in general gives sharper peaks and better separation than the older Xterrra)
