My question is if I'm working on LC-MS/MS and the Isolation depend on the mass which is high selective to daughters specially MS/MS ,why some times we get interference peak in the same retention time of my analyte ,with knowing that ihavent carry over and my analytes are drugs which have not small molecular weights. :?:

I have the same poblem now. I extracted estradiol from serum and then derivatized. The derivatized were extracted with EtOAc and dried and redissolved in mobile phase, but got the interfering peak with MRM (I did 5 MRM transitions and every transition got a interfering peak). It only happened to my serum sample not derivatized standard, I could not figure it out.
