pls recommend me large-scale preparative HPLC column

pls recommend me large-scale preparative HPLC column. I need to do the seperation on 80mmID,and 100mmID column,which product are the best?like the quality and the price?

The right selection depends on money which you can invest.
For example we are using Buchi glass columns

but they are very sensitive for handling and are usable for mid-pressure chromatography only. We had some problems with their fragility so we asked local latheman who made "tube" of stainless steel. Sorbent is not compressed.

You can try to ask Merck for compressed steel columns too, but I don't know which ID is maximum.

In case you have a lot of money, probably the best selection is dynamically compressed column (we use one).

Thanks for the link. That LC1600 900 litre column photo is very impressive. It took me a second or two to find the person in the picture.

I'm not sure why moon704520 needs HPLC, but perhaps they could consider the cheaper Biotage flash systems, which are lower pressure, larger particle, but also are 75, 150, and 400mm in diameter with varying length barrels.

Since there can be an up to 50-fold difference in the loadability of a column depending on the details of the chromatography, I would suggest first that you tell us more about your method(s). This could save you a ton of money...

Good idea.
Sometimes is better to use several interlaced injections of smaller load. It depends in your application.
