AUC(PK) Standard deviation

I hope this fits in with the rules of this forum. (The data is acquired by HPLC at least)
We have been analysing murine plasma for concentrations of a drug. We have 3 points per timepoint and each mouse can only supply one data point.
We can easily calcualte mean AUC by averaging each point then calculating by either trapezoidal or WNL analysis. However we are required to add a standard deviation to the AUC.
Would using the mean +SD at each concentration then calculating AUC give the upper value? (and vice versa for low) Seems a bit of a fiddle?
Any help on this would be great (or a link to a more suitable forum/website).
Thanks!
James
