I have problems in establishing split ratio-splitting wanted relation.
At first I've menaged to have splitting measured with flowmeter around 40 ml/min when the split ratio set in the method was 40.
Nowadays at split ratio 40 I have value around 129-135 ml/min on the flowmeter.
What could be the cose? Why don't they follow each other?
Septum,column and detector are checked!
How to establish splliting arond 40 when I have set in the method split ratio at 40?????
Could possibly water in H2 geneartor that has lager concentration of co2 have influence?

Thank you!!!!!

The split ratio is the ratio of the flow out of the split to the flow into the column. Only if the flow into the column is 1 ml/min will the split flow be 40 ml/min at a split ratio of 40:1. At higher flows into the column the split flow will be higher for the same split ratio.
