response factor
Basic questions from students; resources for projects and reports.

hello! i have been working on a hplc for a week now there is a term called response factor which i cud not understand cud anyone help!

Response factor is simply the concentration of an analyte divided by it's peak area, and of course you need to know it in order to be able to quantify it...
