TGA Selection???

Not sure if this is the best forum to use, but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with TGAs? We are working on a classified project for which we need to purchase a TGA system. We are looking at Perkin Elmer, Mettler-Toledo and Thermo Electron. Has anyone used any of these systems? If so, could you make any general comments as to stability, sensitivity, etc. At this point, I really don't know much about the technology (have never used a TGA) and was just wondering if one of these is a significantly better choice than the others.

Thanks,
Aaron

Waters now owns TA.
TA is pretty much the 800lb gorilla of the TGA/DSC market (you may want to have a look at them too).
Thanks,
DR

Hi ,

I have used TA systems TGA and now using Perkin elmer's Pyris 1 TGA system . Both the systems are good but personally i would prefer TA systems TGA as it is much more advanced as compared.

Yogesh.
