Does anyone have experience doing biodiesel analysis by ASTM 6584? I would particularly like to know how well the specified column is working. I believe it is .32 x 10 m x .1 um 5%phenylmethyl (DB-5 equivalent?). The sample chromatograms I have seen look a little ragged.
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

DB-5 may work, but I haven't tried it. I know they came out with a higher temperture version recently, but Varian makes a column designed for that method. Part # CP9076. This one definitley works.
