What are the most common void volume markers for anion exchange columns? The compound should be UV/Vis detectable.

Thanks

Hi Martin,

Anny UV absorbing, neutral compound should do the trick. Acetone might be a good choice.

If your AX column is resin-based, you may find that solvents dissolve into it, so it may be preferable to use a slightly higher MW neutral compound.
