I try determination of methyl and propyl paraben in gel and placebo has interference. I try columns(C18, C8 & phenyl) with vary phases.
Anybody has an idea for this problem?

That depends a great deal on the nature of the interferences. The possibilities are too many.

Why don't you then use GC after trimethylsilyl derivatization? We've done this numerous ways. By HPLC, what we've developed is proprietary, but think other solvents and other columns...but if you've got interferences with both, why not try GC?

Thanks for your reply.
