We are consistently observing a strong polymer (repeat mass =74, lowest mass unit = 541.1) after injection of MeOH. The polymer would seem to come from either the septum or the injector itself.

Does anyone know the identity of this polymer? It would be handy to know for internal exact mass calibration of column free injected samples.
