I was wondering if anyone knows of any good companies that service old Agilent/HP GC/MS in the Chicago area. We have a 6890 GC with a 5972 MSD (Agilent doesn't support and the money is not there to get new) but I would like to have it looked at by some one with more knowledge than I have to make sure it is operational (has been sitting unused for many years before I came). I have only been able to find one company that would service it but have had trouble getting a hold of the guy that does the mass spec service to schedule anything.
