Can anyone recommend good management books, especially with regard to lab management.
A compendium of Dilbert cartoons would be a good place to start.

I don't have any references at the moment, but I have seen them and I will look them up.

I suggest "Managing the Analytical Laboratory: Plain and Simple" by Clifford Nielsen (CRC Press).
Book is really practical but remember this may be considered a downside also.

If you get any books, make sure you only read them at home and don't keep them at work. Dilbert and Wally might just work for you....
