Hello people-

Anyone who runs pesticides here? I was wondering if anybody else has a problem with their second source verification for Toxaphene (ICV) passing within 30%. Calibration is no problem, but the ICV is really out of the acceptable limits. I'm running a sample for certification.

I've been told before that it's very difficult to get a second source for Toxaphene.

Is this true?

We usually have no issues with Toxaphene. We purchase standard solutions from both AccuStandard and UltraScientific and meet ICV requirements. We also integrate total peaks along baseline instead of individual peaks.

Okay, that may be my problem...I integrate using 4 individual peaks.
