Dear all,
Does anybody want to advice me about amino acids analysis? Is it better to do it on HPLC or GC?
Thanks in advance!

Step one, check the archives. There has been a lot of discussion about this analysis in the past. Step two, give more information in your question. The type of analysis depends on sample matrix, which amino acids, etc.

The sample is animal food, and amino acids of interest are lysine, methionine, cystine and cysteine.
Thanks for the advice, but I try to find something using easy way.

At South Dakota State University in Brookings SD, Prof. Nancy Thiex taught a workshop on exactly the subject of feed testing for amino acids (I was a guest speaker). There is an official AOAC method that was the basis of her course. The method is non-trivial. If you just have a few samples, her lab does service for hire. Write her at Nancy.Thiex@sdstate.edu and say hello from me.
