I need to do some small scale ageing under controlled humidity. I will be using humidity cabinets.

Does anyone know what salt and at what concentration I need for 65% RH

Thanks

John

The following link is in German but you probably can identify most salts on the list very easily. at 20°C a saturated ammonium nitrate solution should give 65% rel. humidity.

http://www.d-r-h.de/hilfstabellen/klima ... uchte.html

and here is one from Omega (does not have the ammonium nitrtae data):

http://www.omega.com/temperature/Z/pdf/z103.pdf

I have another table from an old Merck KG catalogue which I have to find first.

cheers,

Thank you
