Problem with degazer

Hello,
the laboratory has got a Metrohm 850 Professional IC Chromatograph. We work on the Metrosep A Supp 7 - 250/4.0 (anion). During the last service vacuum pumps A6011003 were exchanged, because of error 036-537: "error MCS" and 036-536: "error degazer". That error appeared again yesterday.
What could be the cause of that situation?

How long did new vacuum pump last ?
Is it still under warranty ?
Was the rest of the degasser checked for leaks when vacuum pump was replaced ? (as far as I know pump must switch on and off periodically, but when there are leaks it will work continously leading to premature failure)

Make a claim to Metrohm service for unsuccessful repair - provided your instrument was repaired by Metrohm.
