Hi,
I am looking for a gc- fid method to analyse Theophylline. Please could you advise of suitable conditions and column for good traces. What would be a suitable solvent to use?
Many thanks
Tom

Note: no replies in three days for a GC method.
Does this tell you something?
Do you need further explanation?
best wishes,
Rod

I would highly recommend you seek a HPLC analysis instead of GC.
I would save you the grief and wasted time and money to do it right, or don't do it at all. Purines by GC are not a simple task.
best wishes,
Rod
