HPLC: Problems with pressure

the pump is constantly triggered by pressure, what should I check? Should I clean it with isopropanol? the flowpath will it be blocked?
please help me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

It could be several things like the pressure trigger is set too low! Usually 5000 psi is enough to prevent a C18 or DVSB column from being crushed.

Above 10,000 psi the nuts and bolts start flying across the room (LOL)!
