We have problems with our CDS Chromeleon (6.80) and Agilent 1100 (1200) HPLC-Systems. :( We think the driver for the Agilent Instruments has a lot of bugs!
Does anybody else have Problems with this configuration??
We do have reconnect problems..(we have to restart the CM-Server on the IPC)
If we perform hardare (-detector) tests we get a lot of error messages
Some of the information in the Audit Trail seems to be incorrect...

DIONEX says that we are the only one with this problems? But we do know that they have a new device driver coming..

Does anybody else have similar problems / a workaround?

Thanks

what is the configuration of your 1200? what are the modules of your system?
have you downgraded the relevant drivers to 1100? if yes are you sure it was correctly done
did you have the system connected to 6.7 prior to that or did you install it straight with 6.8

do you have regional settings set in your PC.
have you run a software check? what did it say?
what is the operating system that you are using on your pc?

i performed a 1200 "downgraded" to 1100 connection with 6.8 and we have no problems at all running it.

even if you don't succeed in debugging right now, don't despair i have heard that dionex and Agilent are excehanging codes for mutual control of instruments. ultimate 3000 for ezchrom and agilent 1200 for chromeleon.
so in the near future you should have less bugs for sure, if they are due to chromeleon.
