LCMSMS tuning 1,6-hexanediamine

I am a quite new user on LCMSMS and here ask for help. For some reasons, I tuned Waters Micromass Quattro Premier LCMSMS in ES+ mode using 5 ppm of 1,6-hexamethylene diamine or 1,6-hexanediamine (99% purity, [124-09-4] and MWt = 116.13) in 1:1 CH3OH and H2O. I got 117.09 m/z base peak and 100.14 m/z peak that is 50% lower than the base peak. Did the 100.14 m/z peak come from loss of M-NH3 for a diamine or it was from any of impurity in 1,6-hexanediamine? When 117.09 m/z ion was selected as a mother ion to look for any daughter ion, there is no any ion showed up except for 117 m/z ion? Why? Should I try more?
