how to reach 100% total volume?

I worked on a gas chromatograph (Perkin Elmer Clarus 480) and the total result does not exceed 100% sometimes 37%-24%

There are many peaks that are totally retained by the GC column! As an example; if you take the column offline and make an injection it will not match the same injection made with the column online.
