Hello!

I would like to install a new lamp which doesn't have a tag on it for Agilent 1260 infinity DAD. From the controller the DAD has following settings:

1)use lamp tag settings(instrument gives an error that the tag is missing and won't start with a new lamp that doesn't have a tag)
2)5190-0917 with cont. heating
3)5190-0917 w/o cont. heating

I'm not sure how to choose between option 2) and 3). What does this cont. heating do and shoud I use it or not.
Try using LabAdvisor to see if it is possible to toggle Lamp Tag required off. On some units this is possible.
Kind regards
Leadazide
As far as i remember only one mode will make a lamp ignitable. Another one will cause an error.

Hello

You can use lamp without tag. You just need to disable "tag"-recognizing lamp type in DAD config.
