There are two popular equations for resolution
R = 1.18(t2-t1)/w10.05 – w20.05
And
R = 2.0(t2-t1)/w1 – w2
Would some one explain the use of 1.18 and 2.0

And
R = 2.0(t2-t1)/w1 – w2
