do some can help with how to connect the three wires from chanal A to the back of the RI 1047A.
Easy: red from 35900 cable to positive on 1047A, black to negative. The third wire does not need to be connected. That's how we used our 1047A.

Don't know if you are using internal 35900D or external 35900E, but don't overlook the 9-pin remote cable that needs to be hooked up to the 35900 to get the data recorded; that's in the manual.

I guess we just used our same cables when we updated from 35900D to 35900E.

Contact Agilent, wouldn't want to assume that black is negative; surprised there are not tags on the wires...

http://www.agilent.com/cs/library/userm ... -90407.pdf on pp. 54-55 shows orange, black (-), and red (+) wires
