where is my anaylte when column is installed

Hi, My analyte peak dispear when I install a column, the peak was there during flow injection analysis, although it is not separatd well since no column. what is the problem? Thanks.

have you considered extending your run time? Possibly, it's still retained on the column. Try changing the proportions of mobile phase to see if you can get the analyte to come off of the column.

two other possiblities: under the front and too broad to see.

hi, thank for reply. it is a long retention time. it take a hour to elute. Again, thank for help!
