Hi!

Does anyone know how soluble Tris pH7 is in either acetonitrile or methanol?

I've been experiencing high back pressures on an XBridge C18 column 2.5um. I'm wondering if my Tris buffer is precipitating on the column some time between my 1 minute ramp from 100% acetonitrile to 100% 25mM Tris.

Thanks for your thoughts!

I'm not aware of any published values for tris. It should be easy enough to check by mixing the ACN and the tris buffer in various ratios in a test tube. Shine a desk lamp into the side of the tube and look through it at a black background. If you see any haze, you have a problem.
