I'm not sure how much I would trust this eBay seller, but for 20 USD it might be worth a shot. It looks like you'll have to email the seller, as the listing has technically ended. I have a manual, but it's in a cumbersome 2-binder set, and I don't have time to scan all of it into a pdf (there are sections with different sized pages, some sections are bound together, it's a mess).

Or, contact this website and see if they'll sell you the one they claim to have in stock.

No luck, the ebay don't answer and the lab website sell full equip.

Somebody can help me with the manual?. thanks.
I'll see what I can do with mine. Might take me a while.

Hi marlenl,

I'm in the same boat as alflo. If you could forward a copy to hwicce (at gmail), I'd appreciate it.

Thank you for your time.
Hi marlen,

The last post in this thread was 2 years ago and the manual alflo uploaded to Mega is no longer there. Like others in this thread, I have also been gifted a Varian 3400 GC, but am having trouble getting ahold of the manual. Could someone either re-upload the file or email it to me?
I have these but the instrument is long gone so I have no need for them anymore. You're welcome to them but I don't want to pay for postage.

rb6banjo, do you have an undergrad/workstudy who could scan the 3400 manual? If not, please email me and we can discuss how to proceed without filling up this forum thread: jeanadrake@epss.ucla.edu. Thanks!
rb6banjo, I would be also interested in a PDF version of the manual. Our printer has an automatic indent, which makes it pretty easy to scan a stack of paper and convert it to PDF. Maybe yours has such a functionality too.
Hello Everybody,

You can download from this link:

Thanks marlenl and rb6banjo!
