Hai, Friends,

We are trying to establish LC/MS method for Hydralazine Hcl, which is in USP and EP. Both pharmacopoeia are using the same method and the method is consisting of Sodium lauryl sulphate and tetrabutyl ammonium bromide as buffer and the pH is adjusted with sulphuric acid.

Can any body suggest how I proceed to comparable method for LC/MS

I can't think of any "cookbook" approach, but I would be tempted to substitute something like HFBA for the SLS and TEA for the TBAB, adjusting the acid/base ratio to get the pH about right (without knowing the pH, I can't tell you whether you would be in a reasonable buffer range). From there, it would be judicious use of "successive approximations" (which sounds much more scientific than "trial and error" ).
