Wavelength accuracy

Hi,

How can you validate a wavelength accuracy of a detector at low wavelengths (200-240nm)?

If you ignore this, how do you justify the use of low-UV's?

The lowest peak of Holmium solution (nasty stuff..) is at 240nm and only 279 nm for a holmium filter (which I'd prefer for safety reasons).

Have you received a certificate for the holmium filter inside agilent 1100 instrument? What have they (agilent) told you about the expiry date and recalibration of this filter?
