Labview for HP 5890

hi all,
I have a HP5890 Series II GC (TCD,FID) and want to interface it to a PC to collect and analyze data. I am kind of low on funds and want to do it as chep as possible. I have a PE Nelson A/D convertor and a HPIB cable to interface it to my computer. I have considered TotalChrom but I need to buy the software (costing $$$$). My university has a Labview site license and so I can develop applications in Labview. Does anyone know of sites where I can get started on how to use Labview for data acquisition from the HP5890 ?
