HP User manual

Dear All,

I have to use a HP-5880, and I don't know if it works. Now, to know it, I have to connect it gases (it had a FID) and integrator (in that time the PC was unthinkable). For the integrator I have it resolved, but for gas inlets I don't know if there is an entrance for auxiliary carrier, recommended pressures, etc.
I know that it is very old and maybe nobody already uses it, but maybe somebody could get rid off of the equipment and has left the manual.

Thank you for the suggestion. Indeed, it is a nice site. But I already explore it and there is nothing for HP-5880. Just begins with HP-5890.

Hi Abel,

Try actually writing to them - you may have more luck than just browsing the website. I did when I needed a image for my website.

The 5880 and 5890 were concurrent for a long time. The 5880 was used a lot in the petroleum industry, and I'd be surprised if Agilent can't offer or point to somebody who has the manual section you need.

I assume you have asked the lcoal agents who else has one, but if that fails perhaps you could ask somebody in the petroluem industry, or email institutions that list 5880 as part of their analytical capability on their www pages.

If, it is just this. I ask to the local representative, and they don't have any copy. But they have told me that he will ask to their customers if they have some manual.
