Lactic Acid Analysis: Mono-, Di- and Trimers [July 14, 2004]

How can I separate mono, di- and trimers of lactic acid by HPLC? Any thoughts?

MTK,
we got a request from one of our customers and developed a method for lactic acids oligomers. It will be available on our website shortly. We are seeing at least four peaks, all fully resolved.

Here is the method for lactic acid olygomers. Method will work with LC/MS conditions too (ammonium formate, ammonium acetate).
