How stable are Primesep columns at higher pH, say 6-6.5?

I am revising an impurity test method for carboxylic acids using HPLC/UV. GC method works just fine for API, however, there are too many placebo peaks for drug products by using the same GC method. To get rid of these peaks, relatively complicated wet chem procedures may be needed.
My thinking is that it is possible to push excipient peaks to early front using Primesep B/B2. Only problem could be, how long can Primesep B/B2 last at this pH? The vendor recommends a pH from 1.5 to 4.5 for Primesep B. But at this pH, carboxylic acids may not ionize. Or, may Primesep D be a good alternative?
Thanks in advance for all replies.
